Troubleshooting Zombie Wax

Problem:  Wax is hard and cracking.
Solution:

Zombie Wax is hard when cold. Kneed it in your hand and it will soften up as it increases to body temperature.

Problem:  Wax is too sticky.
Solution:

Zombie Wax is sticky when warm. Sit it on the table and let it return to room temperature while you wash your hands.

Problem:  Wax keeps sticking to my fingers.
Solution:

Keep your fingers clean. If Spirit Gum and Zombie Wax are on your hands, the wax will come off onto your hands. Use Spirit Gum Remover as necessary.  Wash your hands often and wipe them with cold cream, makeup remover, or baby oil and your fingers will slide right over the wax. You can even wipe the surface of the wax the same way for even more control.

Problem:  Wax will not stick to my face.
Solution:
  • Only do wax applications in non-joint and non-wrinkle areas. Make faces in the mirror and notice where your natural creases are. Select smooth areas for wax effects.

  • Wash and dry skin.

  • If you are sweating, dab away sweat with dry paper towel.

  • Make sure Spirit Gum is dry and tacky before applying Zombie Wax.

  • Make sure Zombie Wax is warm (body temperature).

  • If it is cold in the room or outdoors the wax will get hard and pull away from warm skin. Move to a warmer area to apply Zombie Wax.

  • Seal Zombie Wax with Zombie Latex to make the wound last and prevent the wax from cracking in cold environments.

Did you know?

  • Zombie Wax can be mixed with Zombie Cream Colors to get different colors.

  • Zombie Wax can be massaged into place after coated with two layers of Zombie Latex.
