New, Cheeper Shipping Options (Domestic & International)

We have successfully established protocol with USPS for rate calculation and secure shipping through gorify.com.  This means that you can choose less expensive delivery options and save money gorifying!

To our US customers: Only USPS Express Mail is trackable.  For those of you who need to track your packages and are under time constraints, we continue to offer FedEx shipping.  We successfully renegotiated a shipping discount with FedEx.  Unfortunately, with the increase in fuel surcharges, this means about the same rate as before.  But at least it hasn't increased.

To our international friends, we are so thankful to have you on board.  USPS International shipping has been tested and you can successfully place your orders on-line.  This is the most effective shipping method for both you and us.  If you have any questions, email us, and we will be sure to take care of you.

New Colors Available

Due to popular demand, we have added Corpse Grey as an option for The Complete Zombie Kit and Bloody Red to Gorify Zombie Latex color pallet.  We also encourage our zombies to experiment with our other colors once they master their kits' products.  Our personal favorites are Sallow Yellow and Turgid Purple- especially together!  We have been testing and revising our site to make it easier for the entire world to navigate and shop.  We have also been talking to zombie fans about their FX makeup needs, and are currently working on a prosthetic eyeball kit to be released with a matching demo page in the next month.  Check back often for new content at Gorify.com, or subscribe to our blog by pressing the gray XML button at the bottom of this page.

Check Out LostZombies.com

webassets/lostzombies.jpg

This week we were invited to visit LostZombies.com. At first, we weren’t sure what made this social networking site any different from MySpace or ZombieFriends, but after spending some time at Lost Zombies it became obvious that this site is FULL of addicting content and interactive features.

First thing we did was create a profile, which you can customize a little or a lot, depending on your level of interest and skill. Once you have a profile, you can network with other members for free. The site is very well designed, glitch-free, and user friendly.

What makes Lost Zombies special is that it has a vision and a destination for it’s community. Lost Zombies is the cyber zombie equivalent of a Renaissance fair. Users gather to have discussions about zombie survival scenarios, and unlike many MySpace zombie groups, these users have read Max Brooks, share zombie common knowledge, stay on topic, and don't break character.

With forum discussions like; “Zombies in Cold Weather”, “Is a Zombie’s Head Always the Weakest”, and “Why Zombie Blood is NOT Red”, users sort zombie mythology from zombie fact. Lost Zombies laid a solid creative foundation and the users’ run with it. Keeping the site true to it’s mission will be essential for its success.  Let's hope the users respect their creators' intent.  This site isn’t for the MySpace mainstream--and that’s great, because Tom keeps deleting our pics for being “too graphically violent”.

You can even report zombie sitings and create your very own zombie outbreak.  This site is a ton of fun!

Lost Zombies gathers blog, photo, and video “proof” of zombie sitings and outbreaks from the general public. Why? To compile the evidence into a feature length documentary film of the zombie threat and eventual Zombie Apocalypse.  It’s the first grassroots zombie film production, and as film industry veterans, we LOVE the concept!

Lost Zombies is an interactive community that’s part RPG, part book/movie club, and part YouTube that will spawn the ultimate zombie film collaboration. And it’s about time, because zombies are coming to get you, whether you are ready or not.

Gorify tested, zombie approved.

So, be it,

New Colors, Tutorials, and Demos Coming Soon

Thank you everyone for your comments and requests.  We are adjusting our product line to your needs by adding Corpse Grey to our The Complete Zombie Kit and Gorify Zombie Latex color pallet.  While on the topic of colors-- we are revising our entire color pallet to lessen the intensity of Gorify Zombie Latex colors, so that you will need to do less Zombie Cream Color painting.  The new colors will be available by the end of next week.

Yes, we are working on new tutorials.  We will be releasing intermediate zombie makeup tutorials within the next 2 weeks. You can keep checking back to our "Tricks" page for updates, or you can subscribe to this blog to find out when new content has been added.

We are also working with an FX partner to prepare demo videos.  Look for videos before the end of summer, just in time for zombie season.
